We cater for all types of functions such as: - Private Parties, Special Occasions, Birthdays, Meetings, Seminars, Workshops, Weddings, Special Events and our annual “Calendar of Events [PDF] ”.

We can accommodate up to 170 people for a group function.

Function Menu

The Choice of function menus is: -

	Hors d’oeuvres - from 10 – 200 people	Hors d'oeuvres menu [ PDF ]

Nick’s has menus and prices to suit your needs. Call Nick or Gina, and they will be happy to arrange a menu to suit your requirements. Function Menus are available and can emailed or faxed within 24 hours from your enquiry for your perusal. Customized menus can be organized but we require up to three working days before we email or fax the quote.

1) Hors d’oeurves

Freshly made and prepared at Nick's - can be served hot or cold

Finger food is a great way to allow guests to mingle. Hors d’oeurves are great with pre-dinner drinks. The beauty about hors d’oeuvres is that your hunger can be satisfied. Hors d’oeuvre selection and pricing is available; please call for more information.

2) A la Carte Menu

For small function groups up to 15 people, you can order from the a la carte menu.

3) Set Menu

The Restaurant has a selection of Set Menus, ideal for group functions up to 60 people. A Set Menu can be from a one-course meal or up to five courses. You can choose from one to four different dishes in each course. On your request of meal options, or budget limits, will determine price per person!

4) Buffet/Smorgasbord Menu

Buffet is recommended for large groups and functions. At Nick’s, the menu can be designed for your groups’ needs. There is an unlimited range of meals that can be prepared for a buffet. On your request we have suggested menus available.

Nick's buffet can include dishes such as Coleslaw Salads, Swiss Potato Salad, Continental Bread selection, Roast Beef, Lamb or Pork, Chicken Cacciatore, Beef Stroganoff, Traditional Pastas, Roast Vegetables and with a range of Desserts and freshly brewed Coffee and Tea.

Function Rooms

Nick’s has the Original or Bella Vista Area

1) Original Restaurant:

The Original part of the Restaurant can comfortably seat 110 people. The Restaurant is decorated with a collection of artifacts, collectable's, antiques and instruments that have been accumulated over the years. Most of the items are tools from the pioneering era from the local area. Nick’s passion is collecting bells; he has a large and interesting collection from around the world.

In the Original part of the Restaurant is a large brick open log fireplace, which is used for two months of mild winter. You can experience the warmth while dining with the sound of the crackling log fire.

The focal point of the Original part of the Restaurant is our rustic timber and wrought iron Yodellers Bar. The bar displays a wide range of wines, beers, spirits, ports and non-alcoholic beverages convenient for the function.

2) Bella Vista Room:

The Bella Vista function room can seat up to 60 people with extra seating available on the attached decking area. The function room is modern with a touch of European elegance. The facility has available power points, Internet connections, white board, screen for power point presentations, with self-serve Tea and Coffee. The Bella Vista’s tables and chairs have been custom made from local timber.

The beautiful views of the green picturesque Tableland countryside can be admired from all angles of the function room. The Bella Vista room is ideal for any occasion.

Events

At Nick’s Restaurant there is live entertainment every Saturday night. Our annual events are Mayfest, Jazz Weekend, Swiss National Day, Italian Salami Night, Bastille Day, and Oktoberfest. Nick enjoys meeting his patrons and is renowned for his jovial personality; and will, if asked, play his piano accordion, ring the bells and get patrons to join in.
